About Us

Some foods don't just feed you — they bring people together. In the Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania, Pierogies have always been that food. Passed around at church fundraisers, spooned out at family gatherings, handed across backyard fences. We grew up knowing what a real pierogi was supposed to taste like. We just didn't think anyone was making them that way anymore.
So we started The Pierogi Kings.

We're a small, hands-on operation rooted right here in Easton, PA. Every batch we make is handcrafted from scratch — real dough, real filling, real ingredients you can actually read on the label. We use Cooper® Sharp because it's the right cheese. We use the process that takes longer because it's the right process. We're not cutting corners to fill a freezer case. We're making something worth eating.

The "Kings" in our name isn't about ego — it's about standard. Royalty doesn't serve guests something mediocre and call it a day. We hold every pierogi to that same expectation: if it doesn't meet the standard, it doesn't leave our kitchen.
This is Lehigh Valley food, made by Lehigh Valley people, for the community we're proud to be part of. Pull up a chair. You're among friends — and you're in good hands.

Hunter Keim

President & Founder

I grew up in the Lehigh Valley eating pierogis the way most people did — straight from a bag, store-bought, mass produced. I loved them. They were comfort food. I didn't know any better.

Then I tried a pierogi from Bayou Boys. And just like that, I couldn't go back.

That one bite reminded me what this food was actually supposed to be — and it lit a fire I couldn't put out. When word got out that Bayou Boys was closing, I saw something most people might have missed — an opening. The Lehigh Valley had developed a taste for the real thing, and someone needed to carry that torch. That's when The Pierogi Kings was born.

A kingdom isn't built overnight, but it's built with purpose. From day one, the mission was clear — bring handcrafted, honest pierogis to this community and never compromise on what goes inside them.

And that mission goes beyond the grocery shelf. You'll find our pierogis in restaurants too — because I believe the places you sit down to eat deserve the same quality you'd expect at home. Local ingredients, real flavor, made by people who live in the same community you do. Restaurants shouldn't have to choose between convenient and good. We make sure they don't have to.
I've been a volunteer firefighter for nearly a decade. That work teaches you things you can't learn anywhere else — show up, do your job, mean what you say. I carry that into everything I do at The Pierogi Kings. Structure. Consistency. Honesty. Your word is your bond, and mine is on every single product that leaves this kitchen.

I live in Easton PA with my wife Hannah and our daughter Charlotte. This community is my family. So When I hand you a bag of pierogis, I'm not selling you a product — I'm inviting you to our table.
