Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network’s mission is to provide low income families and families in crisis the essentials to maintain a dignified standard of living while encouraging independence and self-sufficiency. The PVEN Community Service Center on Route 209 just outside Brodheadsville houses its Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, Diaper & Menstrual Hygiene Pantry, and its several seasonal programs which provide free help to residents of Chestnuthill, Eldred, Hamilton, Jackson, Ross and Polk townships in Monroe County, PA. As part of its mission to encourage independence and self-sufficiency, PVEN’s facility also provides social service referrals and operating space for other non-profit aid agencies to deliver services to the residents of the West End.
